Index Issues

The working group on index issues is concerned with the creation and development of indices in the fixed income and bond areas. Moreover, the working group serves as a link between the SBC and the index providers, guaranteeing the free flow of information.

Several members of the Swiss Bond Commission (SBC) are currently on the index commissions of SIX Swiss Exchange and also of the LSI of Credit Suisse. This enables the SBC to place its concerns and pursue its interests there.

For instance, SBC Chairman Wolfgang J. Marty officially represents the Swiss Bond Commission in the index commission of SIX Swiss Exchange.

The SBC is looking for additional experts who would like to join this committee and delve into index issues.

General Assembly OKS

The general assembly took place on May 10, 2012 at the Hotel Widder. The event was a great success not only by the number of attendee. The official part was followed by a presentation of Dr. Dominique Ammann (PPC Metrics) and a social part.
