Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is responsible for all issues concerning the Swiss Bond Commission (SBC) except for issues explicitly listed in the articles of association as being the responsibility of the General Assembly. The Board consists of five to nine persons. Its members are elected by the General Assembly for a three-year term of office. The Board members elect the Chairman.

The Board of Directors of the Swiss Bond Commission consists of Wolfgang J. Marty, Ueli Goldener, Hansjörg Schmidt, Markus Kramer, Michael Tschudin, Daniela Steinbrink Mattei, Maurizio Pedrini, Benno Weber.

Why Join the SBC?

A large number of market participants from all segments of the fixed-income markets have joined the Swiss Bond Commission. They consider their membership a valuable asset.

The Swiss Bond Commission provides a unique platform for getting in touch with experts in the bond/interest rate market. Through the Swiss Bond Commission, the association's members have a strong impact allowing them to influence the regulatory environment.

Owing to its international connections with organizations such as the European Bond Commission (EBC), the SBC's voice can be heard well beyond the Swiss borders.

The SBC has formed a number of working groups dealing with issues and questions surrounding the fixed-income business. In internal and external panels, they cooperate closely with the authorities and the stock exchange. Their know-how directly benefits all SBC members.
